Acting

Each week will bring with it a new, challenging, and exciting medium for the process of becoming a well-rounded actor. Learning how to create a character and then place he or she into a totally organic scene is phase one. Performers will learn the finer points of delivering memorable monologues, commercial-improvisation reads, scene study, and of course, audition techniques for on-camera experiences.

modeling

We touch upon the same modeling techniques used by today's top fashion models. Classes in self confidence, print, and runway will help give you professional edge no matter where your ultimate goals may take you. Whether that's to become a commercial print model, a fashion model or just the very best version of yourself. These workshops prepare models in a variety of ways: helping you to choose the clothing that flatters, while providing make-up and styling pointers, teaching you how to correctly pose, and really work the camera.

vocal technique

Performers of all levels will learn to sing with proper technique in a positive and fun environment! Vocal range, ability, and style will be determined as the singer is exposed to many different genres of music. Healthy vocal technique, microphone etiquette, and stage presence are the key elements of becoming a true vocalist, while the necessary components for great sound are discovered through breath support, posture, and placement.

private lessons

Slower paced than our group workshops. One-on-one instruction is a wonderful tool for those who wish to ease themselves into professional development. In addition, it is truly invaluable for seasoned performers who want to work on a specific medium, whether it's for an upcoming audition or performance of a role you've already booked! This time may also be used to self-tape for an audition or to record scenes for a demo reel.

 

IMPORTANT INFO

*Each new performer must commit to an initial three month guarantee, per a signed agreement. Each lesson is given once a week (totaling 12 classes in that span). Lessons run in 60 minute increments, a minimum once per week.

*A 24-hour cancellation notice via email, text, or phone call is mandatory if missing a lesson. Failure to do so will result in the loss of that week's lesson and subsequent monetary value associated with said lesson. Lessons may be rescheduled and retaken upon an instructor's discretion if there is an available time slot in the instructor's schedule. 

*Month-to-month payment plans will become available after the initial three month obligation. Discounts for referrals and signing up for additional classes are available. Please contact the J2 Staff for additional details.
